ABOUT LEMOORE ELEMENTARY

Lemoore Elementary School is centrally located in Lemoore, California. The campus is set on 17 acres and includes 3 permanent classroom buildings, several portable classrooms, a library, kitchen and cafeteria, and 3 playground areas for students.

Enrollment averages around 650 students in grades TK-6. The student body is ethnically diverse including Caucasian, Hispanic, Filipino, African American, American Indian, and Asian. Our staff is a highly motivated, dedicated team of experienced and new educators. There is an active parent club which is involved in school activities and encourages parents and community members to support our students. Our custodial staff keeps the campus sparkling and in good repair year-round.

Lemoore Elementary School prides itself on providing a safe and clean environment conducive to learning. Our instructional program is aligned with state standards and District guidelines. Academics, with an emphasis in English language arts and mathematics, are delivered in a manner which is challenging and engaging. Support staff and Special Education teachers ensure that the needs of all students are met. Students and parents are assured a disciplined, stimulating learning climate.

Lemoore Elementary is a PBIS school embracing a tiered intervention system for behavior and academics. Students at Lemoore Elementary ROAR (respect, on-task, achieve, responsibility) daily. Students receive intervention for reading, math, & behavior.

A number of programs are in place which promote a positive & academically focused environment for students. Lemoore Elementary has a student council, daily/monthly recognition of good citizenship & attendance, educational assemblies, field trips, athletics, reading challenges, & participation in the spelling bee, poetry & prose, and Big Brothers, Big Sisters. Students are provided one-to-one technology devices, access to high school mentors, and other on-going activities designed to enrich the educational experience of all students.
