On October 2, 2019, your child will bring home a Federal Impact Aid survey form. We appreciate you taking the time to fill out this survey and promptly return it to your child’s school. Each completed survey is extremely important as these forms help bring in federal dollars to help the Lemoore Union Elementary School District with the cost of educating our students.
Under the Federal Impact Aid program, Congress provides financial assistance to affected school districts. Impact Aid is designed to assist school districts that have lost property tax revenue due to the presence of tax-exempt federal property or that have experienced increased expenditures due to the enrollment of federally connected children, including children living on Indian lands or military installations. The program supports local school districts with concentrations of children who reside on Indian lands or military bases or who have parents/guardians employed on eligible federal properties.

More than half of future dropouts can be predicted by sixth grade based on attendance and
failure in English and math. This is why we make attendance a priority every day! #attendanceawarness #attendancematters #everydaycounts #schooleveryday #IHeartA2A

Our Liberty Marching Band and Colorguard practicing for our first band event of the year. You can see them performing at the Caruthers Fair Parade on Saturday at 10:00am on Tahoe Street in Caruthers.
Attendance and achievement are directly linked. Students learn foundation skills, like math and
reading, in the early years. Children who miss school in the elementary years are more likely to
struggle academically and, in later years, to dropout entirely. #attendanceawarness #attendancematters #everydaycounts #schooleveryday #IHeartA2A
